  3. Spelling Sentry is a spelling-checker application for Microsoft
  4. Windows 3.1. Spelling Sentry can check and correct the spelling of
  5. words in Windows Write files, text files, and the clipboard. It
  6. comes with an 80,000-word lexicon (dictionary) and supports three
  7. types of user dictionaries. Additional features include:
  8.   * Drag-and-drop file checking
  9.   * Readability statistics
  10.   * Can undo replacements
  11.   * Highly accurate suggested replacements for misspelled words
  12.   * On-line help
  13.   * Shows the sentence containing a misspelled word
  14.   * Can ignore all occurrences of a word in a document or
  15.     replace all occurrences with another word
  16.   * Can ignore capitalized words
  17.   * Can detect doubled words

  19. Documentation for Spelling Sentry is included in the file SPELLSEN.WRI.
  20. You can view or print this file using the Windows Write program.

  23. on registering your copy of Spelling Sentry.

  25. Spelling Sentry's 80,000-word lexicon is available in two versions,
  26. one including American spelling rules and the other including
  27. British/Canadian spelling rules. To conserve space, only the
  28. American version is provided with the evaluation copy. You
  29. can request the British/Canadian version when you register.

  31. Spelling Sentry's DLL (SPSENTRY.DLL) contains a general-purpose
  32. spell-checking engine which is available for royalty-free use
  33. in other Windows applications. See SPELLSEN.WRI for details.
